Land of Milk and Honey

36" x 36"
Acrylic and gouache on canvas, framed

From the artist:
"Day dreams and fantasy are the basis for this series of electric landscapes. Set in a not so distant future, they depict a world no longer encumbered by human activity. Neon hued and animal printed, the natural forms in these works are both familiar and bizarre, referencing our peculiar relationship with planet earth and the creatures that inhabit it.

With climate catastrophes at the centre of our collective conscience, I hope magical realism with a hint of alarm will draw focus to the strange allure of a post human planet that is more foreseeable with each step on our path towards self extinction."
